1. Generally, the running speed of the conveyor belt should not be greater than 2.5m/s, and the low speed should be used as far as possible for the materials with large lumpiness and wear and the unloading device with fixed pear.

2. The relationship between the diameter of the driving roller and the cloth layer of the conveyor belt, the matching of the driving roller and the reversing roller, and the requirements for the groove angle of the idler should be reasonably selected according to the design regulations of the conveyor.

3. The feeding direction should be along the running direction of the conveyor belt. In order to reduce the impact of falling materials on the conveyor belt, the chute should be used to reduce the drop distance of materials. In the material receiving section of the conveyor belt, the spacing of idlers should be shortened and the buffer idlers should be used for material leakage. The conveyor belt should conform to the requirements and adopt a soft and moderate baffle plate, so as to avoid the too hard baffle plate scraping the belt surface of the conveyor belt.

4. When the conveyor is in use, for the lack of idler, it should be added and repaired in time. The idler is covered by materials, resulting in ineffective rotation, to prevent material leakage stuck between the drum and the belt. Pay attention to the lubrication of the moving part of the conveyor belt, but do not oil the conveyor belt.

5. Prevent the conveyor belt from being blocked by the frame, pillar or block material, and prevent it from cracking. When the conveyor belt is partially damaged, it should be repaired with artificial cotton in time to avoid expansion.
